Chike Madumere has a Bachelor's (B. Eng) in Civil Engineering from Federal University of Technology Owerri, obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental and Geospatial Sciences from North Carolina Central University, and is currently a Doctoral (Ph.D.) candidate in Infrastructure and Environmental Systems program at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. 

Chike is also a published author of two peer reviewed articles on Global Food Security and Unsupervised Classification of Hurricanes effects to the Southeastern Division of the American Association of Geographers (SEDAAG) and North Carolina Geographical Society (NCGS) journals respectively.
