Some international institutions require that prospective international students take the English proficiency test TOEFL. Since English is an official language in Nigeria, this should not affect our students. By achieving global awareness of English proficiency in Nigeria, this will be one less test for our students to take while seeking admission abroad. In 2015, only about 21 American Universities exempt Nigeria from TOEFL (Magoosh, 2015). https://magoosh.com/toefl/2015/are-you-from-a-toefl-exempt-country-its-more-likely-than-you-think/
